Expand your visual vocabulary to discover new avenues for building strong and exciting work. Using a variety of dry and wet materials such as charcoal, graphite, ink, and washes, explore how the senses impact how and what we see. Explore the process of translating observations into drawings. Class instruction will include direct observation of still life objects and spaces in the room and a live model on one day. Exercises may include drawing from memory and experimenting with mixing media. For students who have experience drawing and want to hone their skills. Previous experience required.
